The Wonder Phone Camera lets you take photos with either the rear or front lens. Pictures save to the Photos app automatically.
Specs
- Rear camera: 21 megapixels
- Front camera: 5 megapixels
Why front-camera photos look smaller
If a picture looks smaller or lower-resolution than expected, check which camera took it. The front camera is 5 megapixels and the rear camera is 21 megapixels — selfies and any photo taken with the flip closed (front-facing) are captured at the lower resolution by design. That's not a bug; it's how the dual-camera setup works on the Wonder Phone. For the highest-resolution photo, open the flip and use the rear camera.
Opening the camera
Tap the Camera icon on the home screen, or scroll to it with the D-pad and press the center button to open.
Taking a photo
- Aim at what you want to capture
- Press the center button (or tap the on-screen shutter)
- The photo is saved automatically — no need to confirm
Switching cameras
Look for the switch icon (two arrows in a circle) on the camera screen. Tap it to flip between the rear and front lenses.
Finding your photos
Open the Photos app from the home screen. New pictures appear at the top.
Tips
- For sharper photos, hold the phone steady for a second after pressing the shutter
- The Wonder Phone Camera does best with normal indoor or daylight light — very dark scenes will look grainy
- The flip-style design means the rear camera points away from you when the phone is open, which is the natural way to take a picture of someone else
