The Contacts app comes pre-installed on every Wonder Phone variant — the L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone and the VAAD Hakehilos-approved Wonder Star alike. It stores the names and numbers you call most, and connects directly with the Call app when you dial or search.

Opening Contacts

Tap the Contacts icon on the home screen, or navigate to it with the D-pad and press the center button. You can also reach your contacts directly from the Call app by searching for a name or number.

Adding a Contact

To add a new contact, open the Contacts app and select the option to create a new entry. Enter the person's name and phone number, then save. Once saved, that contact's name will appear on your screen whenever they call.

Editing a Contact

Open the Contacts app, find the contact you want to change, and select the edit option. Update the name, number, or any other saved details, then save your changes.

Finding a Contact

You can search for a contact by name or number directly from within the Contacts app. The Call app also lets you search contacts — opening the Phone app search brings up your recent call history, and typing a name or number filters results from there.

Marking Favorites

Contacts can be marked as favorites from within the Call app, giving you quicker access to the people you call most often.

Speed Dial

The Call app supports Speed Dial for up to 999 contacts. Assign speed dial numbers in the Call app settings. Speed Dial numbers are linked to your contacts, so keeping your address book organized helps here as well.

Transferring Contacts to a New Phone

If you are switching to a new Wonder Phone, you can move your contacts using a standard .vcf file:

  1. Open the Contacts app on your old phone.
  2. Press the 3-dot menu, go to Settings, and choose Export — this saves your contacts as a .vcf file.
  3. Transfer the file to your new phone (for example, via Bluetooth or a cable).
  4. On the new phone, open the Files app, locate the .vcf file, and tap it to import.

Variant Notes

Contacts is included on all four Wonder Phone variants — Wonder Phone Talk & Text, Wonder Phone Talk & Features, Wonder Star Talk & Text, and Wonder Star Talk Only. There are no variant-specific differences in the Contacts app itself.
