The Photos app comes pre-installed on all Wonder Phone models — both the L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone and the VAAD Hakehilos-approved Wonder Star. It is where every picture taken with the Camera app is saved automatically.
Opening Photos
Tap the Photos icon on the home screen, or navigate to it with the D-pad and press the center button. New pictures appear at the top of the gallery.
Viewing Pictures
Scroll through your photos using the D-pad or by swiping on the touchscreen. Press the center button (or tap) to open a picture full-screen. From there you can swipe left and right to move between photos.
Sharing Pictures
You can attach photos from the Photos app when composing a picture message (MMS) in the Messages app — available on Talk+Text variants. To attach a photo, open a conversation, choose the attachment option, and select the picture from Photos. You can send up to 10 pictures in a single message.
You can also transfer pictures to a computer by connecting the phone with the charging cable — plugging in automatically starts file transfer mode.
Editing Pictures
Basic editing is available within the Photos app. Editing a picture before attaching it to a message can help if the picture is not sending correctly (see known issues below).
Known Issues
Photos slow to appear after taking them Newly-taken pictures sometimes take a while to show up in the Photos app. This is a known issue. Restarting the phone speeds up the indexing process.
Photos appear half gray or half blank When transferring a large number of files at once — especially over Bluetooth — some pictures may display as half gray or half blank. The image data is intact; the display catches up on its own within a day or two. Restarting the phone speeds this up.
Picture messages failing to send A current bug in the Messages app can cause picture messages to fail to send. As a workaround, try editing the picture in the Photos app first, then re-attach and send. A fix is targeted for the next update.
Storage
The Wonder Phone has 16 GB of built-in storage. All photos are stored locally on the device. There is no cloud backup or online storage — the phone has no internet browser or connected services for file storage.
Transferring Photos to a Computer
Connect the phone to a computer using the charging cable. File transfer mode starts automatically. From there, you can copy pictures off the phone to back them up or free up space.
