The quickest way to switch between ring, vibrate, and silent on your Wonder Phone is to long-press the # key from the Home app. This cycles through all three modes without opening any settings menu.
Switching Between Ring, Vibrate, and Silent
As of WonderOS 1.6, long-pressing the # key on the home screen switches between ring, vibrate, and silent modes. This shortcut is available system-wide in v1.6 — you do not need to navigate to a settings screen each time.
This feature applies to all Wonder Phone variants: the L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone and the Wonder Star.
Ringtones
Additional ringtones were added in v1.5.7. The ringtone selection is managed through the phone's sound settings, accessible from the home screen.
Vibration
WonderOS 1.6 also introduced stronger and more consistent vibration across the system — if vibration felt weak or unreliable on an older software version, updating to v1.6 addresses that. You can install updates through the System Updater app, which comes pre-installed on every Wonder Phone.
When Vibration Isn't Working
If the phone isn't vibrating for calls or messages even though vibrate mode is on, check whether Battery Saver is active — Battery Saver mode disables vibration to extend battery life. Turn it off at Settings > Battery > Battery Saver and vibration should return.
If vibration is still inconsistent on an older software version, updating to v1.6 (which improved system-wide vibration) usually resolves it. Install via the System Updater app.
Volume
Physical volume adjustments are made using the volume buttons on the side of the phone. These control the ringer volume when no call is active, and call volume during a call.
In beta now (v1.6.0.022): the volume control expands to 15 steps — louder at the top and much quieter at the lowest setting — for finer control. This is rolling out to beta testers now and will reach all users in the next stable release — see Joining the Wonder Phone Beta Program.
A Note on Variants
The ring/vibrate/silent shortcut and all sound settings described here work the same way across all variants — Wonder Phone (L'Maaseh-approved) and Wonder Star (VAAD Hakehilos-approved) alike.
