The Weather app is a built-in feature on L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone models only. If you have a Wonder Star (VAAD Hakehilos-approved), the Weather app is not included on your device.

Opening the Weather App

Find the Weather app on your home screen and tap or select it with the center button. The app will display current conditions and a forecast for your location.

What You Can Do

  • Check the current forecast — view current conditions and upcoming weather for your area.
  • Save multiple locations — you can add and store more than one location to check weather in different places (added in v1.5.9 / v1.6).
  • Pin weather to the home screen — an option is available to pin weather information directly to your home screen for quick access without opening the app (added in v1.5.9 / v1.6).
  • View detailed daily charts — the app includes a forecast overview and detailed daily charts for temperature and precipitation (added in v1.5.8).

Pinning a Location to the Home Screen

To pin a specific location's weather to the home screen so it shows up without opening the app:

  1. Open the Weather app.
  2. Tap Location.
  3. Long-press the location you want pinned.

The pin shortcut requires Wonder OS v1.5.9.014 or later. Check your version at Settings > About phone > WonderOS version, and update via the System Updater app if needed.

If the Weather App Doesn't Detect Your Location

If the Weather app can't pick up your location:

  1. Confirm location services are turned on at Settings > Location.
  2. Test whether other location-aware apps work — try Waze and Zmanim. If neither of them gets your location either, the issue is at the system level (location is off or denied), not specific to Weather.
  3. If only Weather is affected, restart the phone and try again.

Known Issue: Inaccurate Readings in Some Locations

Weather readings are currently inaccurate in some locations. Wonder is working on changing the weather data source to improve accuracy. If you notice incorrect readings, reporting the location and the reading through the Feedback app helps prioritize the fix.
