The Wonder Star — Talk & Text is a VAAD Hakehilos-approved flip phone priced at $399.99. It includes calls and SMS/MMS text messaging, but does not include Waze, Android Auto, or weather — those features are exclusive to the L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone line. This article covers the physical phone: its hardware specifications, what you can maintain yourself, and how to get repairs done.
Physical Design
The Wonder Star shares its hardware with all other Wonder Phone models. It has a flip-style form factor with a lightweight build and a soft matte finish. The phone comes in one color only: silver-grey on the outside, black on the inside.
Screen
The display is a 3.5-inch touchscreen with an anti-glare coating. The screen is not user-serviceable. If the screen is cracked or malfunctioning, contact Wonder support for a warranty or repair assessment.
Battery

The battery is the one hardware component users can replace themselves. Replacement batteries are sold separately and are compatible with all Wonder Phone models. Under the 1-year warranty, hardware issues — including battery defects — are covered at no charge.
Cameras

The cameras are not user-serviceable. If a camera is physically damaged or stops functioning, submit a warranty or repair request.
Note: There is a known open issue where newly taken photos can take some time to appear in the Gallery app. Restarting the phone speeds up indexing. There is also a separate known issue where photos transferred in bulk via Bluetooth may display as partially gray — the image data is intact and will render correctly after a short time or a restart.

There is no expandable storage slot. The phone has no internet browser, no email client, and no app store — by design, as required by VAAD Hakehilos approval.

Warranty and Repairs
Every Wonder Phone comes with a 1-year warranty. During the warranty period, hardware issues are repaired or the phone replaced at no cost. To start a claim:
