The Notes app (also called Notepad) comes pre-installed on every Wonder Phone variant — both the L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone and the VAAD Hakehilos-approved Wonder Star. It is available on Talk+Text, Talk & Features, and Talk Only models alike.
Opening the Notes App
Tap the Notes icon on the home screen, or navigate to it with the D-pad and press the center button.
Writing a Note
From the main Notes screen, select the option to create a new note. A text field opens where you can type freely using the on-screen keyboard, the physical keypad, or T9 input. The Yiddish keyboard is also available if you have it set up.
Creating a Checklist
As of v1.5.8.042, the Notes app supports checklists. When creating or editing a note, look for the checklist option to switch the note into a list format. Each item you add gets a checkbox, making it easy to track tasks or shopping lists.
Attaching a Picture
Also added in v1.5.8.042, you can attach pictures directly to a note. While editing a note, use the attach option to add an image from your Photos.
Adding a Voice Memo
You can attach a voice note to any note, a feature introduced in v1.5.8.042. This lets you combine written and recorded content in a single entry. For standalone voice recordings not attached to a note, the separate Voice app handles that — see the Speech-to-Text and Voice Notes article for details.
Storage
Notes are saved locally on the phone's 16 GB built-in storage. There is no cloud sync or online backup — notes exist only on the device itself.
Variant Notes
The Notes app is available on all four variants. There are no variant-specific differences in Notes functionality.
