Waze is pre-installed on all L'Maaseh-approved Wonder Phone variants (Talk, Text & Features and Talk & Features). It is not included on the Wonder Star (VAAD Hakehilos-approved). Opening Waze

Find the Waze icon on your home screen, tap it or press the center button, and the app will open to the map view. Waze uses your phone's location to determine where you are and provides turn-by-turn navigation to destinations you search.

Common Things to Do

  • Search for a destination — Tap the search field, type your destination, select the result, and tap to start navigation. Waze will calculate a route and give audio turn-by-turn directions.
  • Start a route — After selecting a destination, confirm the route shown and tap Go (or the equivalent on-screen button) to begin navigation.
  • Stop navigation — Use the on-screen stop or exit option to end the current route.

Using Waze with Android Auto

The Wonder Phone also includes Android Auto, which lets you use Waze through your car's dashboard screen when connected via USB. This provides a larger, hands-free navigation display while driving. Android Auto is also exclusive to L'Maaseh-approved variants; the Wonder Star does not include it.

Troubleshooting Waze

If Waze stops working or behaves unexpectedly:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Waze > Storage & cache > Clear storage > OK. Note that this will delete your recently searched addresses.
  2. If the issue continues, dial *#*#7777#*#* on the keypad. This will uninstall and reinstall Waze on your phone.
